Almost all of our bookings are made through the online system, and please be aware during the main Summer months we can be fully booked for a number of days or even more than a week ahead at times. General enquires can be made by emailing us at info@isleofmayferry.com or calling us on 07957 585200 between 8am and 7pm, if we are not available please leave a short message and we will get back to you as soon as possible. We also have a ticket kiosk located on the Middle Pier, Anstruther harbour. (Postcode, KY10 3AB), and it is open one and a half hours before each sailing and most afternoons between noon and 4pm. If places are still available tickets can be purchased on the day for that sailing or for any future dates. Sailings are daily on the tides.

We accept all major credit cards, debit cards and cash at our ticket office on Anstruther pier. If the boat does not sail due to adverse weather conditions etc we will refund your ticket payments in full.

Trips are occasionally subject to cancellation due to adverse weather conditions. Every effort is made to ascertain if the boat will be able to berth at kirkhaven before sailing, changes in sea condition can occur, become apparent after sailing, and therefore landings are not guaranteed as safety comes first.

Although the Isle of May has one of the driest climates in Scotland we advise visitors to come dressed for the outdoors, warm rainproof clothes and good griping footwear. Sea breezes can be very cooling and there is not much shelter on the island should a rain shower occur. A hat is also good idea as protection from the sun and from the occasional swooping bird.

Trips take 4 to 5 hours, with 2 to 3 hours on the island to enjoy the wildlife. The exact time is determined by the tide and weather conditions. Gangways are provided both at Anstruther and Isle of May.

Trips are also available on the fast RIB Osprey which is operated by our Sister company Isle of May Boat Trips Ltd. Sailing times are normally after the May Princess and more detailed information can be found by visiting the website
www.isleofmayboattrips.co.uk or contact the Skipper on 07473 631671
