Sailing Information and Bookings can be made by e-mailing us or by calling our booking line on mobile 07957 585200. If we are not available, just leave your name, contact telephone number and how many places you need and we will phone you back in the evening to confirm. We also have a Ticket Kiosk which is located on the Middle pier at Anstruther harbour (Postcode, KY10 3AB) and is open one and a half hours before sailing time. Tickets can be purchased for the days sailing or for any other days. Sailing is daily on the tide.

We accept all major credit cards, debit cards and cash at our ticket office on Anstruther pier. If the boat does not sail due to adverse weather conditions etc we will refund your ticket payments in full.

Trips are occasionally subject to cancellation due to adverse weather conditions. Every effort is made to ascertain if the boat will be able to berth at kirkhaven before sailing, changes in sea condition can occur, become apparent after sailing, and therefore landings are not guaranteed as safety comes first.

Although the Isle of May has one of the driest climates in Scotland we advise visitors to come dressed for the outdoors, warm rainproof clothes and good griping footwear. Sea breezes can be very cooling and there is not much shelter on the island should a rain shower occur. A hat is also good idea as protection from the sun and from the occasional swooping bird.

Trips take 4 to 5 hours, with 2 to 3 hours on the island to enjoy the wildlife. The exact time is determined by the tide and weather conditions. Gangways are provided both at Anstruther and Isle of May.

Trips are also available on the fast RIB Osprey which is operated by our Sister company Isle of May Boat Trips Ltd. Sailing times are normally after the May Princess and more detailed information can be found by visiting the website or contact the Skipper on 07473 631671
